It’s a wrap!

We received so many great submissions to the Reality Check video contest and even better yet – we got girls talking! We can’t thank you enough for sharing your reality with us. You told us what you care about, what inspires you and what challenges you face. We will be spending the next few weeks reviewing the submissions and judging the entries. We will announce the winners January 18. So stay tuned – you might just win one of the fun prizes, including $250 Best Buy gift cards, tickets to see a production at the Goodman Theatre, an opportunity to “shadow” a Columbia College film student for one day, and dinner with Kasia Pilewicz of America’s Next Top Model.

In the meantime, it’s clear that girls have a lot to say and want to discuss the issues they face every day, so keep talking! We plan on continuing to be the voice of girls and will be hosting fun, interesting initiatives in 2012, including interviews with special guests like Kasia.
