Taped in front of a live studio audience at Columbia College in Chicago on October 13th, 2011, tune into to watch former America’s Next Top Model contestant Kasia Pilewicz joined by Maria Wynne, CEO of the Girl Scouts of Greater Chicago and Northwest Indiana host a discussion between a panel of experts and girls about the results of a national research survey on teens and reality TV.
The alarming research indicates that many girls ages 11 – 17 view reality TV and perceive it to be an accurate depiction of real life. But we know what you see on TV isn’t really real… so tell us what your life is really like. The Reality Check campaign calls on girls – both Girl Scouts and non-Girl Scouts – to capture the “real” realities of their life on video. Video submissions are due on November 30th, so time to get filming!
